EP Carbon has been an advocate for carbon-financed conservation and restoration from the early days of the modern carbon markets.
From our engagement with the Chicago Climate Exchange, adoption of the Verified Carbon Standard, and subsequent development of projects in both the voluntary and compliance markets, we’ve evolved, adapted, and grown with carbon markets. We are continuing to pioneer new approaches to high-integrity carbon project development through our Partnerships Program, proprietary software platform Impact Inside, and collaboration with leading scientific and project development affiliates around the world.
We are a full service technical partner, able to provide the design and development services needed for your project to generate carbon credits. Whether through our technical services or by our finance and partnership matching programs, we align with our project proponent’s interests and provide the design and development services required for each project to succeed.

Our international approach lets us to design and develop carbon projects from scratch or collaborate with existing teams, and we are always exploring novel avenues in the carbon finance landscape.
Successful Track Record
Successful Track Record
We were the technical partner on the first forest carbon project verified under VCS, co-wrote one of the early VCS REDD methodologies, and built the first grouped forestry projects in locations like Oregon and Guatemala.
